Arimakan is a peaceful and tidy place with warmly welcoming staff. The location is perfect, with easy access to the train station and the castle. The rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds. The traditional Japanese meals served in the room are delicious and of great quality. The onsen is a highlight, with both indoor and outdoor baths available, and the option to book a private onsen. The staff, especially Mr. Daiki, are extremely helpful, friendly, and fluent in English. Additionally, the free shuttle bus to Zao mountain is a convenient and beautiful option for exploring the area.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.
